that's a good question. I come from a Christian background myself, and I am currently agnostic, but I don't believe in miracles. People lie all the time, and I doubt that a claim from the 7th century could be verified. Even if blood or flesh was found, you would need to demonstrate that it belonged to Jesus. I do not know how anyone could possibly do it. People make all sorts of claims for a multitude of reasons, and they need to be taken by a grain of salt. Another thing to take into account is the fact that other religions claim to see "miracles" too, so it cannot only be a Christian idea. One question you may want to ask yourself is: does it make sense that miracles exist? Sure people claim that they were healed from a terminal disease due to a "miracle". My question is, how do they know that? In reality, we don't know why they managed to overcome a terminal illness, and that's it. It could be that doctors made a mistake and the problem wasn't as terminal as they thought. There could be other things that took place that we are not aware of. Anytime something isn't quite answerable, the answer should be: we don't know what the cause was. It would be a mistake to say it was a miracle. Think about all the kids in the world who get raped and die from diseases at early ages. They pray, and so do their parents with no results. Yet some religious person living in North America, for example, will claim that their prayer got answered? "Thank God I survived that car crash, I had a divine intervention", and then multiple kids die of a famine halfway around the world- quite arrogant of these "miracle" advocates if you ask me.
