Quote:There was a Confederate statue in an old civil war era cemetery for Confederate POWs on the westside of Columbus that was vandalized some weeks back. So I would imagine there could possibly be a few of them around. And as another poster pointed out some Southerners migrated North to look for work after the Civil War. And there's a lot of people here in the Central part of Ohio whose family roots are from the border states of Kentucky and West Virginia. My wife's side of the family, the Hatfields, fought for the South. My family's ancestry is from Kentucky. One of my great grandfathers served in the Union Army under General Sherman. I would imagine that the central and southern areas of Ohio, especially, has some Southern roots. I have family throughout the South in Alabama, Georgia, and Tennessee, as well as in Kentucky.Ok. Are there any statues to say, Benedict Arnold or the Rosenbergs?

Ok, you understand that these are statues of people who tried to overthrow the US for the right to keep human chattels, correct? They are venerating statues of people who belonged to a foreign power that went to war against the US. How many statues of Nazi leaders are in Ohio? Is there a shrine to Tojo? Do you have a Mussolini Memorial Library?
