Yeah, I saw that. Motive still unknown though it appears he was mentally ill.
UGGGGGGGG
I really wish more people would demand national and local media stop using the word "motive"....... While it would be nice to know what ever killer has in common is ACCESS.
Roof was racially motivated.
Va Tech Shooter was mentally ill.
The Pulse Shooter was religiously motivated.
Colombine Killers...... Showing off.
ALL OF THEM had one thing in common, EASY ACCESS.
Nobody wants to face the fact that firearms are made like candy and handed out like candy.
Now, regardless of being sane or mentally ill, you still have to be disturbed to do something like that. So while funding mental health would be also part of it, and paying livable wages so families can monitor other members, the fact remains we still have a flooded market.
I could give a shit less what one's motives are. It is time to make the stores and factories responsible, just like a bar can lose it's liquor licence for selling to underage people.
If we can sue Takata for what they were irresponsible for, then we should sue the factories for not giving a shit where their products end up.
NO I am not talking about an all out ban, nor am I talking about all buyers for that matter. Just that we have a problem and we are being held hostage by the fear marketing of one corporate lobby and one industry.
We don't simply have muskets now, laws have to change to keep up with changing technology and population growth.
