Lets not be unfair to her. Muslim prayer, Buddhist prayer, Jewish prayer, Hindu prayer, Native American Prayer, nobody is actually talking to a spirit or god world, they are merely projecting their own qualities in the form of non existent things.
Humans simply don't have the critical thinking skills as kids when their parents sell them their respective religions.
Just like a kid will believe in Santa before they can start questioning. Nobody wants to think their parents are bad or are lying to them. No, most parents are not bad but get sold what their parents sold them, and what their parents sold them ect ect ect back thousands of years.
