Hahaha I've not gotten this one yet, that genuinely made me laugh. For clarification sake, what part are you not buying? You not buying that I was an atheist? That I am a Christian? Do you think I'm trolling you?

The churches that I'm most connected to (at home and near school) aren't really denominational, but they're basically somewhere in the Presbyterian-Mission denomination. I don't know nearly enough about denominations to give a strong answer as to where they fall under because some denominations cover a wide variety of churches, and I don't fully understand that because it's not a big priority in my mind.
I was having angst issues growing up and didn't understand a lot when it came to God, so when I asked my mom, she wasn't able to give me a satisfactory answer, and neither was anyone at the excuse for a church I went to. So I left, and it caused a big stir.
A few years went by, and I realized atheism didn't make sense to me - it didn't make sense that we came from nothing, or that the universe formed itself. There has to be a higher power involved in all this beauty, and as I started to seek God, I found the answers to the questions I had, just not in the church I had been in when I was younger.
