Well based on what I've seen of him so far, I think he will share his opinions without being rude or condescending about it. Having people with different view points here makes the site more interesting I think, so i don't want him to get discouraged from staying.

People who are sincerely respectful do not come uninvited to a new place and, as his opening gambit, act as the key note speaker or ask Long time residents to tell him about themselves.   That is the mark of preacherly ambition and priestly conceit.
