RE: Would you go to church just to prove it won't change anything about you?

Up to you really.
I've spent many years in the church choir, and therefore in church, even though I didn't believe any of it. It was pretty fun to be there, and our church was very beautiful (that church is a copy of the St Peters cathedral in Rome) so I had plenty to see and admire. Had it been a protestant church I doubt I would have lasted that long. I went to a protestant church once for the wedding of my nephew, and I was bored to tears (though the congregation holding their hands in the air bit was interesting, what is up with that?).
