One thing I've heard is that all the blood from the "Eucharistic miracles" is of blood type AB. How do you explain that?
Btw, thanks for the replies.
Sounds like an old wives tale, I mean where did you hear it? Because this is like that situation in the documentary "Religulous" when Bill Maher visits truckers church and then has conversation with one of the truck drivers that goes:
I think it was determined the shroud or whatever that was went around a while back--I didn't get involved.
- Shroud of Turin?
- They took blood samples from it, and it was female blood with a male figure. Okay, the only possible way that could happen was that the Holy Ghost impregnated Mary because it would've been female blood because it would've been the only blood flowing through her.
People seem to think if their story contains words like "DNA" or "Blood type" that it's scientific.
teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"
