Actually,I think you'll find the day after Xmas is December 26.
We celebrate christmas the 24th. but your right the 25 is called the christmas day, even thought we don't celebrate the holiday then. It's just a day to relax and prepare to eat more food after eating yourself uncouinsess the day before.
THe reason why we celbrate christmas (which is called Jul here from the old nordic word Yule) is because it come from the nordic pagan feast with the same name. At the time scandinavians believed in Tor and those other cool fellas.
Much better times. They also had much more awesome superpowers then Jesus or God. Also were there very many of them so they would outnumber and kick Jesus ass any day in the week.
I mean they did that to giants which where not a easy opponent.
