Was a Christian, but never really paid much attention to the bible. (Or in church for that matter... when I went, I found it all very boring)
What I take from the parable is that God is a psychopath who isn't satisfied unless you do everything he says. I mean take that the king kills those who don't come, and then still punishes the guy who comes, but isn't wearing a suit. He's a king who is nothing more than a ruthless dictator, and the world would be better off overthrowing him than worshiping at his feet.
One can easily take from this parable that we should aim to destroy god. That Satan is the only way to salvation.
