So do I, I've been advocating protest through non-participation for years now. Turnout as it corresponds to the winner is already approaching the dangerously low levels I've been mentioning. When the winner of one of our elections gets less than a quarter of our peoples votes - and the majority of those are said to be protest votes themselves..... there's no such thing as a public mandate. The fundamental justification of american governance...the consent of the governed, is lost..... and with it, any and all credibility for the current or future regime.
Less people voting, however, is unlikely to yield the result you desire. Your ideology has -already- lost the popular vote....and every year there are less of "you" and more of "them". The numbers just arent in your favor...so, if anyone has an impetus to effect real change, it's probably you and yours. Find a suitable candidate for 2020.
If you don't, SCROTUS will be the parting shot fired as you fade into historic obscurity....and I don't know about you.....but I wouldn't wish that on a dog.
