There are about 600 more of those commandments, not all of them pretty. Wiping out most of humanity is not love. Torturing people for eternity because they can't make sense of book full of contradictions is not love. Admit it, you read it with prejudice also. So, if the bible says different things, depending on how you read it, it sounds useless for anything except a negative example to prospective writers.
There are some concerning menstruation too. Yes, menstruation is IMPORTANT to the Lord God Almighty!!
Most all Christian denoms just ignore the religious significance of menstruation. And Scriptures emphasis on it makes absolutely clear any faith with an attitude of sweeping it under the rug is just plain WRONG !!
