I relate to your situation a lot. I have not a deep connection with anyone yet I care about people a lot. No one calls me, etc, except for school purposes.
Usually people who don't take the mantle of Satan's unclean spirit as a means to connect to people, people don't feel good around them.
And I find people really like me when they first meet me, but long term, people become allergic to my personality.
It doesn't bother me, because, I am battling within myself not only for myself, not only do I refuse to take on the mantle of Iblis' unclean spirit to relate to people and to become liked by them (which is easy to do), but I am following the lonely stranger road until I find a cure for myself and help God and humanity....
I will betray my people only to help them, will become the outcast stranger only to stop the coming darkness and oppression planned by Iblis and his forces.
Such is the path one must take during these dark times.
