Would you tell people (confidentially of course, you don't want to hurt her feelings) that she's not a real woman if she had two X chromosomes but didn't have ovaries, couldn't lubricate naturally, couldn't make milk, didn't bleed once a month, and had more upper body strength than most women her size?

I might even fall in love with Mary. But none of this means that Mary can choose to be a bona fide woman. Because that's not what the word means. Mary doesn't have ovaries, and probably doesn't have female chromosomes. She can't lubricate naturally, she can't make milk, she doesn't bleed once a month, she is likely to be unnaturally strong for a female.
