But, here’s the thing - there’s no proof of hell, heaven, or any other kind of afterlife.  Just unsupported, and, frankly, foolish assertions written by superstitious ancient people.

There is literally nothing to fear regarding any kind of afterlife.  Such a thing doesn’t exist.

To add to this, just go research the concept of hell. If you read far enough, you will see that the concept evolved over time. What the "hell" is up with that? It's all made up shit to keep the plebes in line. The Catholic church has evolved their beliefs over time. Wasn't the FIRST shit right? Obviously not, and not much has changed.

Any more, whenever I see a question like this, I am reminded of the question about how many angels can dance on the head of a pin. It's fucking nonsense, all the way down to the core. No offense meant, btw.

Yeah, wasn't one of the first stories about hell just about this valley that was set on fire, and continued burning? So unless someone's going to drag my old self down to Jerusalem, or wherever that valley is, and throw me in, then the threat of hell doesn't mean much. Certainly nothing in the afterlife, unless people think that pit is haunted.
