On Saturday mornings, they're down at the local synagogue judging the family that provided that week's spread, and cooing over whoever's offspring are currently being bat or bar mitzvahed.
Of course, they could use Sundays instead. But there's nothing noble about the Jewish sentiment for NOT advertising your faith. You're supposed to advertise it and how great Judaism is by living it. All the crazy shit of the Chasidim is akin to the Mormons and their special underwear. "Look at me, I'm so elite, God tells me so and other people will wish to be me because of it!" Except Mormons realized that Jews WEREN'T taking over the world and figured they better get a hustle on. Rather like any group of people who make themselves some sort of social outcast with funny clothes and strange customs. They're special because they're unique. You should want to be them because their uniqueness makes them better than you.
I suppose I should have ended that with: There's nothing noble in any of this because the attitude is "if you don't want to be part of my special group, fuck you."
The one thing Christianity has going for it in regards to missionary work is they are at least told to "save" people. Jews just say "Nanny nanny boo boo!"
