First religion question, the most important thing in religion is defining what we are, to know ourselves truly.
When we don't know who we are meant to be, we become confused on the path, and everyone can say an opinion of something, what is important is proofs and insights, to inform by what of either a sure information from God sent by or sure knowledge.
Everyone can make everything evil as ambiguous.
For example, you say it doesn't harm anyone. But we see US nuke two cities and declare to the whole world it was a good deed they did. Till now they teach this. Nuking two cities is not evil, threatening a whole country to be nuked is not evil, blackmailing them because you have this technology is not evil, etc.
From this it is learned the most severe evil deeds can be justified by people when they aren't thinking for themselves with clarity but just parrot none sense from people who misguide them.
That said, there is plenty of harm of homosexuality tolerance.
1. If it is a choice whether we accept such orientation or not, and people present it as not a choice, a person or a kid orienting towards that will utterly be confused and think he is gay, when according to religion, such thought are from dark beings and dark enemies of humanity.
That harm in this case is a person will not resist and follow what is meant for him or her to be.
2. If it is a choice, it harms not only a child presented with evil thoughts from the dark enemies, but harms the parents, who if against it, will seem like they are abusing their child. The child might pick society over the advice of his parents, and it can cause division between a family.
3. It confuses people what free-will is and what sin is, for the greater sin has never been an action but existing in the darkness whence we are meant to fade the darkness into the light of God. And people want to be accepted for who they are, but being self-worshipers as we are, we will justify all our preferences and whence we feel we can get away with responsibility we will.
4. Fighting for the soul is something humans must do, if this is part of the fight, then we must prepare people to orient themselves to condemn evil. When people are not allowed to condemn evil because they are bullied by people who hate being called out for their evil, there is confusion to right and wrong.
5. No gay person ever used revelation to justify their action, that is no one uses religion, that is no one believes if there is a God, that this great benevolent reached out and clarified there is no evil in this. Hence, this evil, is used to do away with God's advice to humans and his benevolent warnings.
6. If it is a choice, then surely you see orienting towards the opposite sex is more praiseworthy.
7. The lie that we can't choose will make people loose their guards and change on the fly without guarding against it and thinking they "discovered" who they really are. And flip it, if a person is cursed with such a curse, he or she might think there is no cure to it which lies in a firm strong resolve in themselves and condemnation and commanding to good from others.
8. These are harms. And other harms that come about is that borders are going to broken. If a society becomes bisexual by choice for example, there can be a lot of barriers broken and distrust will happen.
9. And in all this confusion will occur - to what it means to be a male or a female, because we are defined with respect to each other. That we might as well do away with genders!
