My worst nightmare:
I'm taking a full load of classes. I dropped a class, but the paperwork didn't go through and I got a 5-week grade report showing that I was getting an "F" in the class that I was sure I had dropped. Fight like hell with the administration, to no avail. <Goes from the Dean's list to academic probation> I had that nightmare for years after graduation, usually when I had a fever.
The only thing that dropped me off the Dean's list was meeting my future bride. What a semester that was. Still married, 36 years later. The Dean's list is ancient history.
There is no devil, except in literature, such as in the wholly buy-bull.
