Also repeatedly mentioned in the definitions is:  rational thought and the ability to deal with cognitive complexity.

Intelligence has absolutely nothing to do with indoctrination or education, nothing to do with a surrounding culture or religious dogma - unless these environments replace facts with fairy tales and squash the individual ability for rational analytical thought.

Edit: Also there are cases of genius kids who teached themselfs math at the age of 5 and got a PhD at 21.
