The benefits of being christian. Where are there???
#29
RE: The benefits of being christian. Where are there???
Great question!

Your right! Why are they all about "where you go when you die?"

Pre-reform was all about being "justified(legalism)" to go to heaven when you die. Post-reform is all about "salvation" to go to heaven when you die. Both ideas are invisible in the autographed languages of the bible.

I am a theist, well versed in the autographed languages, and I tell you: the bible is all about the here and now of our individual lives(nobody else's business)! Heaven is a place here, and now, that is a authoritative up(sky) position. As a citizen of heaven, I live down(figurative) here with complete diplomatic immunity(from above)--oh, am I having a good time! Hell is a here, and now, burning trash heap of a life--ask a homeless drug addict.

You can only go to "heaven" when you live right here, right now. NOT WHEN YOU DIE! That place is called "Paradise! You can only go to "hell" when your current self directed life completely sucks! After death it's called the "Lake of Fire"--NOT "HELL"!

It's called the Lamb's book of LIFE--HELLO! Those whose names are not found in that book will suffer the second death, which is the Lake of Fire". The rest of us will probably experience an unending orgasm that would make a heroin addict jealous! But, that's just a guess.

The rest of the people are called "worldly", or land people. The Greek word is "gE" (pronounced: gay). So we all are either heavenly citizens, or hell mongers, or completely gE!

My life has been off the freakin' charts good! But that's anecdotal. At least I'm not a hell monger or gE!
My girlfriend thinks I'm a stalker. Well...she's not my girlfriend "yet".

I discovered a new vitamin that fights cancer. I call it ...B9

I also invented a diet pill. It works great but had to quit taking it because of the side effects. Turns out my penis is larger and my hair grew back. And whoa! If you think my hair is nice!

When does size truly matter? When it's TOO big!

I'm currently working on a new pill I call "Destenze". However...now my shoes don't fit.
