I don't think he has a problem with comprehension , he has a problem with you imposing your faith on him. You are not trying to help you are just trying to sell Christianity.

Edit: I don't understand how someone that is so proud of his belief can missunderstand religion on so many levels.

 I'm not imposing my faith on him. My faith is not religion that's where you have gone wrong about Christianity, yes some denominations do practice religion, most do not. I was trying to help him on two levels which you have seemed to miss. If all you can do is criticize find another hobby.

You ment heart figuratively, I'm sorry. Christians say often that some parts of the Bible are metaphorical while others are literral, that's why I got confused.

Alright I accept that explanation. Out of curiosity why would you believe that I meant that literally when Christianity is a spiritual religion as much as a physical one. Our connection with God in this life is spiritual. 

I've noticed that many of you used the pronoun "they" or "he" when talking about me. I am a cisgender female, you can use "she" when talking about me. I'm not offended, I understand that you didn't know my gender, I just wanted to let you know.

  Okay and thank you for letting me know. Also thank you for your responses unlike some here you seem to have taken what I'm saying as trying to be helpful. Sometimes I can be very blunt, some see it as a flaw I do not it's who I am but not always.
