Just assume Sunday School and all the rest 'took' and don't ever ever ever check any further.

A healthy dose of ecumenism didn't hurt me either. Set the stage for my near instantaneous disillusionment with Campus Crusade for Christ upon reaching college and 'coming out'.

Probably easier today to 'come out' and stay churchy (if already in a liberal denom) and also today there is MCC (yeah, MCC founded in the 60s, still didn't hear about it for a long time after I came out. Think a friend joined and told me about it. Love the idea and the angst and dyspepsia it causes the fundies and evangels is delicious)
 The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.
