EVER? Of course. Ever I would say DEFINITELY yes...
I mean for a start actual de conversions do happen of course - just look at 'Converts Corner' at RDF.
And I'm sure it must have happened somewhere during a discussion.
I just mean a word like EVER? There are so many people on this planet, so many of discussions have took place. I would think that to the question of whether a believer has EVER started to have doubts while discussing a skeptic EVER - key word being EVER - I would have to say I assume definitely yes.
Besides that includes them doubting and yet still go on believing! Hell yes! It must also be MUCH more common for them to simply 'have doubts' because of the discussion than to actually be deconverted by it I would have thought!
I don't know the actual statistics of it but I'd have to say that I believe: Yes - is the answer to your question.
