I'd rather be completely blind, dumb and lose both my legs than lose one of my ears.
I think an ear is on par with an arm for me.
Some people are "all sixes and sevens", I'm all arms and ears.
If I ever became completely deaf I think I'd kill myself. Being blind or losing my legs would cause a depression but I'd probably end up getting through it with music. How am I supposed to get through a depression with music if I can't hear?
Same if I lost both my arms. Probably kill myself. Unless by then I was able to have cybernetic arms or cybernetic ears... then I'd keep on living.
