Obviously he sexually assaulted the female, she physically assaulted him.  It wouldn't be self defense because her attack wasn't to prevent the crime, or to detain anyone until the police got there, it was done as retribution for the crime after it had taken place.

I agree but at the same time I'm pretty sure the police would (or should) sympathize with anyone who lashes out after being attacked. Even if it wasn't required for self defense.

When people get attacked they panic. It's not as if she waited 5 minutes and then walked up to him and bunched him. The panic part of her brain understandably responded and lashed out because she was attacked.

If she'd beaten to him to a pulp and clearly kept going way past just lashing out quickly that would have been a lot more serious. Attacking someone back after they assault you isn't necessarily retribution... it can be instinct.

Its true attacking back can be knee jerk type instinct but she walks after the guy and tracks him down.
Im a jumpy person and im ticklish and ive punched and kicked many people by lashing out instinctively before but it doesnt count if you have to follow them as theyre running away.

But thats really just splitting hairs, whether its a focused retribution or an instinctive reaction judging by the video she couldnt argue self defence.

I agree that the woman definitely deserves sympathy and in a similar way i think the guy probably shouldnt be registered as a sex offender for tapping a tit. Or if he is then just for a few months to get a message across.

The guy did look very humiliated so hopefully he learned his lesson.
