The gist of it is that no one actually -can- live up to the faith -of- jesus, as he practiced it.
It's super difficult to engage in a twelve way bromance on a sugar mommas dime as a voluntarily failed carpenter. He was just the best. Sinless. We pretty much need to ride his coat tails into the party if we want to get past the bouncer in the sky.
Christians aren't jews because, deep down...they positively -know- that they cannot fulfill the requirements of The Law or approach the example of Christ, wretched creatures that they are. "Jesus" is the only way out for them (or in...I suppose they imagine).
