Okay.
So, for clarity, do you or do you not maintain that
.....?
This seems to imply that greater participation and/or a more vocal role would change the landscape, as it were. So, something like BLM?
Or, if that's true, since we don't have that level of participation or..apparently, that level of noise...do we not still need to do something? To accept the reality at hand and, from that starting point, address the problem in a manner that does not depend on what we are insisting does not exist?
Or - and this is my favorite way to try and parse between us what we're talking about- are you simply insisting that more people should be more actively involved in things like BLM? Expressing your dissatisfaction with people who discuss it online but don't march with signs?
I can understand that, though I'd say to cut them some slack. Being in the discussion is important. It's the collective braintrust from which movements draw support, as clownish as it can be.

Quote: If, say, 10% of the public let the Police Department know that they were actively interested in what was happening IN THEIR OWN TOWN, thing will most probably change. A lack of accountability comes from a lack of oversight.

I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!
