If atheism was a belief system then sure, but it isn't. And again, you know this too, so again, why do you ask?
I believe there is no god. Why is that not as much a "belief-system" as would be "I believe there is a god"?
And I continue to assert the benefit of continuous questioning of one's beliefs.
