As the yearly "we found Noahs ark" stories emerge once more, it strikes me that even find a big boat up a mountain would not be proof of the flood.
You would have to prove that religious nuts did not build one up there. Look at all the Ark "replicas" around the world now and its been a story, for what, 5000 years, plenty of time for some motivated idiot to build one up a hill.
