Do you consider the quality of job growth numbers isn't just about the raw numbers, and could be tied to unemployment? If you have high unemployment, you need big job growth numbers to get it to where you want it to be. If you have record low unemployment, you only need enough job growth to maintain record low unemployment. To come to the conclusion people are meant to come to, you'd have to believe that going from 8% to 5% unemployment is the same as going from 5% to 2%. Or if you want to take it to the extreme to show how undeniably stupid it is, it would have to be the same as going from 2% to -1%, which isn't even possible that I'm aware of.
So even when Trump is losing he's actually winning. Beside didn't Trump say that Obama was a disaster and especially Trumpists who repeat this over and over again like mantra and now when there was lower job growth during Trump's era they change their tune to "Well, economy wasn't that bad so there weren't many jobs needed."
teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"
