Aha, that makes so much sense. Most plants can float in the ocean for half a year and turn our just fine: I've only taken a few ecology courses at university so I forgot this fact. You should become a Christian scientist!

Did your ecology courses cover the Noachian flood and the recovery? BTW, got a source for that 1/2 year thing? Most plants would start to rot after a few weeks immersion.

I'm being sarcastic in case it isn't obvious . No, the plants are dead if they float in freaking salt water for half a year. Dead in 100 different ways.
