This sounds like it could make for a decent joke thread.  Ask Haipule anything (well almost) and GOD will tell him the answer!  If that actually worked, it could come in handy on tests.  But oh wait - God would want you to study.  Ooh, lottery tickets!  But God probably doesn't approve of gambling, so casinos are probably out too.  (Yo SkyDaddy, tell me what cards he's holding - thanks dude.)  Hmm. Here, I'll throw you a simple one:  I have a classical guitar.  Where was it made?  (On Earth is not an accepted answer.  Neither is "in a luthier's shop" or any of it's equivalents.  You need to at least get on the correct continent.)  Chance of a correct guess:  1 out of 6.

Of course, if someone could do this for real, it would make news.      That would be fun.

What makes you think that God is opposed to gambling? I LOVE blackjack and I am scary good! God need not tell me what the next card is.

As far as the lottery, gambling is illegal here in Hawaii and there is no lottery. However, the authorities turn a blind eye to chicken fights which is cultural and I am NOT invited.

(true story)When I lived in Florida, I put God to the test. He would not give me future lotto numbers but, scratch off lottery tickets are historical. So we picked a location and reel to follow. I told Him I wanted at least a $20.00 winner. Everyday I would ask Him how many tickets I needed to buy to win. It got closer and closer until it was time to act. I went to that location and asked how many tickets to buy: He said 12. I bought those twelve. The first one was the $20.00 winner! The 12th one was a $15.00 winner and I had $6.00 in between! Total: $41.00. Profit: $29.00.

I cashed them in and did not play again. Why? Because it was a pain in the ass and was not worth it! Yet, a nice confirmation.
