The whole point is that this study compares same-sex adoptive parents with biological parents. Of course the results show that biological parents are better for children. I don't think you'll find anyone who would argue with that.

These data are not explanatory at all.

The apt comparison is same-sex adoptive parents and heterosexual adoptive parents.
