It's a grievance that's been transformed into a fetish. Like many such grievances, theres a kernel of truth at the bottom of the cesspit...but whatever relationship between that kernel and reality (and the fetishizers) exists has long since been lost between them. The south used to be deep blue, but then johnson had to go and lose it.

I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!
