Because maybe it wasnt a thing made yet. I mean if you think about it, Ezekiel has a alien story to it with the wheels swooping like a spaceship. So it seems more proof of aliens than god. But the theory is that since humans are so clever over all other animals " i mean intellectually advanced way of communication and behavior, not saying animals are stupid since they are quite bright" but some has gotten to the theory is aliens made all these great civilizations and intermixed some DNA with ours and left or something. Though i might be crazy for thinking that but its a nice theory i like to keep. Though most serious scientists or experts on history will debunk this though
