To all appearances the earth is flat, as far as they choose to see.
You don't build your house on a rounded slab do you?
And of course some of the flat earthers have a whole system of reasons to believe what they want.
It sounds so familiar doesn't it?
For some, having such a system of thought is all the proof they need.
What is more, if a large sector of the population believe as they do, then it's definitely true - how could so many people be wrong?
That's a really good argument for some isn't it?
