But that is indeed what a few of them did.
And you as well.
You should understand I don't place the same value in being liked, as you do CL. I have no interest in "going along to get along" if it means going along with the reprehensible. So while receiving "backlash" from folks who would engage in and defend such damaging, hurtful rhetoric is expected, it's of no distress to me.
Victims and potential victims who might have actually taken your thoughtless words to heart take absolute precedence over you and your friends' indignation at being called out for what you clearly did.
I post what I post with those folks in mind, not in hopes of gaining/regaining your little posse's approval.
Thanks for the warning/Do not care.
Lol, funny that I'm being accused of "going along to get along" here when I'm a theist on an atheist forum and have 0 problem disagreeing with people here over sensitive issues, which I do on an almost daily basis here. This just isn't one of them.
Anyway, I'm not going to argue with you about this anymore.
"Of course, everyone will claim they respect someone who tries to speak the truth, but in reality, this is a rare quality. Most respect those who speak truths they agree with, and their respect for the speaking only extends as far as their realm of personal agreement. It is less common, almost to the point of becoming a saintly virtue, that someone truly respects and loves the truth seeker, even when their conclusions differ wildly."
