Question: do you still actually think he didn't do anything wrong or are you simply saying he had a bad defense? The thing is, he pled guilty, so he didn't really have a defense.
From a legal pov I think he was stupid for pleading guilty to the sexual assault charges. He should have gone to court and made the State prove all of the elements of the crimes. If he's actually guilty as he has pled to being then there's no reason not to admit the details.
