Sexual Abuse is not an indicator of lasting sexual orientation. I'm sure the Christians like to think so because they think it 'proves' them right. That being gay is unnatural. But the underlying suggestion is that gay people are only that way because they were abused--and that their God thinks that those abuse victims deserve to burn in hell for their abuse.
