Rev., can you say for certain that you didn't catch the flu because you didn't get a shot? Or did you just miss your chance at contagion that year?

I didn't change anything the years I didn't get it. As far as I can tell, the only commonality is that I didn't get the shot the years I didn't get the flu. Sometimes, it's less severe, sometimes, more. Naturally, I can't keep track of all the flu strains going around Chicago, who's got them and what airspaces are carrying them, but I'm just making conclusions based on my own experience.
