I didn’t say you, or anyone else was stupid, Steve. I simply find this particular doctrine to be baldly, batshit idiotic. I honestly cannot think of a more tactful way to say it that doesn’t diminish how strongly I feel about that, lol.
I don’t think that really makes a difference. If you have something to add or an argument to make is one thing. If I’m doing something stupid, or my thinking is wrong show me. However, if this isn’t your intention... an emotional outburst of “that’s stupid”... and walking off in an earnest discussion. Just seems childish. I agree.... it’s uncouth and not part of civil discussion.
