I've heard of Rick and Morty but I've never heard of CTN or BTTF.

Don't knock it till you try it; Rick and Morty's absolutely brilliant. I don't know about CTN cos I saw it on Netflix but BTTF is Back To The Future and it is indeed like that; Rick is like the character of the Doc and Morty is like the character of Marty. It's definitely worth a watch
