Last movie seen in theaters - Three Billboards outside Ebbing, Missouri. Even ignoring the quality of the film (which is excellent, by the way), this is essential viewing, especially for anyone who gives a crap about justice. On some level, everyone is right, and everyone is spectacularly wrong. Really, if there's any current political issue involving justice, this film will resonate with it. Honestly, I feel like I should create a big curriculum of books and films that help create a brutally honest picture of justice, ranging from The Oresteia to this film.
Last movie seen and finished - Apt Pupil. Overall, it's a pretty good movie. Fun fact: in the hours before graduating from High School, I watched this on Youtube (because my local library doesn't have a copy of the DVD). It's not without its flaws, like the fact that Ian McKellen retains his German accent, even when he's supposed to be passing for an American named Arthur Denker, and the fact that Todd's character arc was more than a little compromised by the film's content being watered down, including removing the ending where Todd goes completely berserk after being exposed, culminating in a 5-hour shooting spree.
Movie currently watching - Wonder Woman. It's actually a pretty good film.
