Would you rather an afterlife exist that was paradise OR an afterlife where you repeat your life ad infinitum but each time, at the end of it, have to implant a dream in your mind at some key point in your life? A bit like Groundhog Day, but where it rewinds so you don't remember anything from one life to the next... the only thing that passes from one life to the next is this dream, which you may or may not heed.
