Yes we do. And we admit as much. If you need to hear it straight up: I HAVE GAPS IN MY KNOWLEDGE. THERE ARE MANY THINGS THAT I DO NOT KNOW.
You're the one who has it all figured out. We just think science is a reliable way to glean information about the universe. How many diseases has Christianity cured? How many satellites has Christianity put into orbit? How many reliable facts about nature has Christianity given us?
I too do not claim to already know the answer to all life's big questions. Why on earth do so many feel entitled to certainty in regard to every possible question? I guess they think the bible is like the teacher's edition with all the answers provided.
