It's a concern as an athlete. I'm against this for the same reason I'm against steroids. It's a frustrating conversation to have because people are quick with bigot accusation and know nothing about sports.
So cap you're the sports expert yeah? Explain to me why discrimination against trans women is ok? Before you say there's an unfair advantage or whatever they actually have certain standards like the level of testosterone or whatever. You know black men have the highest amount of testosterone, right? How is that not an unfair advantage in really any sport. While we're at it let's ban Micheal Phelps from competing again because he has a very particular long torso short legs ratio kind of body that makes it easier to swim. So really where does this "unfair advantage" thing stops? If it is just limited to transsexuals that's kind of bigotry bro. In sports there will always be people that are more gifted than others and guess what trans women doesn't necessarily mean a big hunk with chest for dayz and biceps that go Choo chooooo. In fact, the whole "it's an unfair advantage" comes from that stereotype. So really, the federation of women can't exclude trans women lol and if they insist I'm sure a law will be passed in the future where women don't have to publicize their trans status.
Black people out a bunch of artificial hormones into their bodies that made them black. Neither did Michael Phelps. Any other super obvious questions that you should know on you own?
I mean, one by one all these records are falling to trans women. It not a natural advantage like the one Michael Phelps has, because you need hormones to become trans. Someone born a man, who went through make puberty spent years training with dozens of times the testosterone level of the people they are competing with. If that person wasn't trans, they would be banned from competition is all major sports. This is making an exception for trans people, not an even playing field.
That I have to explain this at all, shows that you don't know that much about it. It's always the same arguments and when they fail, scream bigot, even though I haven't said anything bigoted.
Also yes, I am a sports expert. They exist and I am one of them. I'm a full time athlete who does multiple sports and has a deep knowledge about them. Even my job involves athletics. I was the person who asked for a sports and fitness section in this forum. I know more about some sports then I know about what I have a degree in. It's why I care about this subject so much. Normally I'm all for trans rights. I don't care what bathroom someone goes to, I don't care how anyone wants to live their life, but having trans women compete with cis gendered women is not a rational position. The science that is sometimes used to justify this cherrypicks hormones and ignores so much.

It would be easy if you paid attention to my argument.
