As someone who got married at 12--I can safely say that marrying when you are that young even when pregnant--is NOT a good idea. I wish someone had told me that when I got married. But I was always told that's what you're SUPPOSED to do. And at age 12, who was I to question it?
I don't see the harm in waiting until you're 18 to get married. If you're REALLY in love, then when you turn 18 you get married. Or you get emancipated from your parents, and then get married at 16. What you don't do is get married before you become emancipated. If you're not fit to become emancipated, you aren't fit to be married. Doesn't matter if you're pregnant. Doesn't matter if your religion says so. Does it have some sort of expiry date? You already had sex before marriage.

"Tradition" is just a word people use to make themselves feel better about being an asshole.
