California is an economic powerhouse with a gdp better than most countries. They're wonderful to their businessmen..but, really, who the fuck cares? You're talking about immigration law, ostensibly. Not trying to create a class war between "businessmen" and migrants..right?
The "nicest" they are to migrants, by comparison..is to simply avoid complicity in their persecution and oppression at a federal level. They watch people punch them in the face, in their own yard..but don't do the punching. Real nice, lol.
