You guys are so off track. You are talking about fixing the current problems, by using the same system which is already broken. This thread was to expand and think about ideas that are outside what we currently are using. All this China VS US production/wages is getting us no where.
Still using competition... eliminate some competition. Use more automation. Build products with longevity in mind. Pay people a real living wage.
Why are there fucking 50 types of oil you can put in your car. Why not make one or two really bad ass oils? That is what I mean. 2321321 different brands of ketchup. Its ALL WASTE! It is corporations fighting against each other for the most profit, instead of delivering the best product to the people. This thinking requires a fundamental change in the status quo of how we do business.
