No it does not. It is what we are forced to do right now, but do not have to accept long term if we don't want to live like this.
Break the industry and bust it's lobby we can be as worry free from firearm violence as Australia and Scotland. It is a matter of our will to bust the greed of one industry.
Of course change is required.
Attitudes and laws desperately need to be changed.
But, until that happens, it's better to be prepared in case a shooter does appear than sit in class and hope it doesn't happen.
